The boundary.go failure comes from needing syscalal.Mprotect, but the fallback code has build tags for !linux && !darwin and our baremetal system claims to be Linux, right? https://go.googlesource.com/go/+/refs/heads/master/src/crypto/internal/cryptotest/boundary_compat.go

I suppose we could add some stubs to syscall/syscall_nonhosted.go? Sadly all the crypto tests have been ported over to using the new cryptotest.TestAEAD and cryptotest.TestHash functions which both use cryptotest.BoundarySlices, so we can either remove the crypto tests from testing on baremetal, or stub out the implementations so even though we don't catch out-of-bounds writes, we still have tests that are working. And the compatibility code for BoundarySlices just runs a raw make([]byte), so that's a reasonable fallback for us to (even if we end up calling syscall.Mprotect that does nothing. Note though that we can't have Mprotect stub return an error, because then the tests will fail.

As for skipping the test in encoding/asn1, I was just propsing adding it to TEST_SKIP_FLAG
