Rendering figures that are located in the same shared folder/directory

Find a way to show images in the web view.

Not just the images in the same folder, but I would expect weblinks such as ![](https://www.peerdraft.app/_app/immutable/assets/image.DcyaDjBC.png) to work too. Current behavior is not to even display the markdown. Before a solution is implemented, a temporary hotfix would at least permit to e.g. open the source image file in a new tab or something like that.

You are right, there are actually at least three things to consider:

• show Weblinks in the online editor
• sync files from shared folders
• show files from shared folders in the online editor

They will probably be done in this order as well.

Image links to web ressouces now work in the online editor. The images are loaded and the links can be edited.

Thank you, indeed, it works and it is a very helpful enhancement. In the future, nice-to-have would be an ability to adjust display size for images or use HTML img for a finegrained control. However, I am sure you have more urgent priorities and the current implementation is already a great step forward for the online editor.

Obsidian supports a way to specify the size of images, no need to use an img tag for that: https://help.obsidian.md/syntax#External+images

The peerdraft editor now supports the same syntax. You can use the mouse or edit the markdown to resize images.
