Your Copilot access is most likely in the activation queue, not broken. This is a known situation right now and usually not an error on your side. Even though your GitHub Student Developer Pack shows as verified (PRO badge), access to GitHub Copilot does not activate instantly. 🔍 What’s happening 👉 GitHub has mentioned that: There is currently a delay / temporary pause on new Copilot benefit activations So your account is most likely: This happens because: Copilot entitlement hasn’t synced yet 👉 This is normal right now. ✅ What you should do You’ve already done the correct steps: ✔️ Set academic email as primary 👉 Nothing else required from your side. ⏳ Expected time You can verify status here: 👉 https://github.com/settings/copilot If it still shows Free → activation hasn’t completed yet. 🚫 Don’t do this 👉 This won’t speed it up. If it takes too long If nothing changes after ~2 weeks, then: Contact GitHub Support |

Since your Student Pack is verified, you just need to wait for the backend sync to complete.
