Someone mentioned on the Gitter/Matrix channel that they were able to write something for Rust, but weren't ready to share it. I'll try to get some news.

@pawamoy @digitaltopo I have the very very very beginning of a solution; able to get very very rudimentary rust info into mkdocstrings. But it's very hacky, with shell tools to massage the rustinfo json. And the output in mkdosctrings is "hello world" level.

I'll get back to it when I find more time.

I don't mind too much sharing it if someone wants a POC, but...

If you're OK with someone else continuing the work in a fork, it could be interesting to share, yes. But I don't want to rush you or anything, so no worries if you prefer waiting! Thanks in any case for your answer here, appreciate it ☺️

There's no PR or fork to look at yet. I can try and provide guidance if you'd like to work on this. It could be interesting to synchronize with @gl-yziquel's work ( 🙇 ) to avoid duplicated efforts, if they're willing to share it.

@JP-Ellis @pawamoy I unfortunately have no mental bandwith at the moment. I wish I had...

If I knew how get a way to send some email or so anonymously to @JP-Ellis, I could zip the thing up and send it, but it honnestly will not be anything that works on some other machine than mine. (and it will be a very ugly hack, almost unusable in its present state).

Completely understand that what you have may not be working well and not generalisable. It might be useful to me and I might be able to adapt what you have or use as a reference.
