Summary

  • add ADR-0003 to formally set KDE as ProtagonistOS canonical desktop environment
  • align active project docs (README, AGENTS, docs index, baseline, technical status) to a KDE-first roadmap
  • mark COSMIC-focused legacy reports as historical context to preserve research while removing active-direction ambiguity

Test plan

  • Verified docs consistency with targeted keyword sweep across active surfaces
  • Verified no linter diagnostics in modified files
  • Confirmed only intended docs files were committed (.codex left untracked)

Fixes #4

This commit introduces a comprehensive retrospective document detailing the exploration and findings from the research session on the feasibility of using Azure Linux as a base for a custom Linux distribution. The document includes an overview of the project scope, key technical discoveries, decisions made, open questions, recommended next steps, and lessons learned for future sessions.

…management

- Introduced a comprehensive technical report on the desktop security posture for the Azure Linux COSMIC Desktop, detailing compiler and kernel hardening layers, SELinux policy gaps, secure boot mechanisms, and a recommended mitigation roadmap.
- Created a new document for package management, outlining the roles of `tdnf` and `dnf`, common operations, repository configuration, and notes for package maintainers.
Add ADR-0003 and align active project documentation to a KDE-first roadmap, while marking prior COSMIC-focused analysis as historical context to remove roadmap ambiguity and close Issue #4 acceptance criteria.
