Summary

  • Replaces the obsolete manual Oracle upload/paste workflow with the globally installed $oracle-review skill and the caf-oracle lifecycle.
  • Defines Oracle as a facade agent for a slower, more thorough model, available for planning before implementation or review afterward.
  • Keeps repository-specific evidence and authority here while the shared skill owns the reusable workflow.

Eligibility contract

Oracle is reserved for work that is both genuinely critical and unusually hard, materially undefined, non-convergent, consequentially disputed, or in need of a higher-quality challenge. Size, unfamiliarity, and generic extra confidence are insufficient.

When $show-me-your-work is active, its concise trail records the escalation decision, request identity/status, and reconciled outcome. The caf-oracle ledger owns the prompt, checked bundle, dispatch, reply, and disposition.

Verification

The configured commit and pre-push checks passed.

  • git diff --check passed.
  • Added lines were scanned for secrets, machine-local paths, private repository links, and private identity data.

Agent provenance

Updated and published by the primary caf-oracle migration agent at commit f88fed9e. This agent owns this focused migration slice. The original centralization agent was not identified in durable public metadata and is not guessed here.

Scope

Contributor guidance only; runtime and compiler behavior are unchanged.

Oracle handoff instructions had begun to drift between projects, including older model names and duplicated packaging commands. This change points haxe.ruby to the shared public GPT-5.6 Pro skill while preserving this repository's own escalation thresholds, evidence rules, and technical authority.

This is documentation-only and does not change compiler or runtime behavior. Verified with git diff --check and by confirming AGENTS.md is the only changed file.

Owner Author

Agent ownership update (2026-08-02): the repository owner assigned the caf-oracle migration slice to the primary caf-oracle migration agent. The original centralization agent is not identified in this PR's metadata, so I am not guessing its identity. Current head before takeover: 869cbd4010321dbf5d1b4aa5f1a85cb788c80af8. This agent owns the migration commit and follow-up fixes; unrelated repository work remains outside this PR. Remaining work before the next push: replace the manual Oracle lifecycle with the ledger-backed caf-oracle facade, preserve local thresholds, add $show-me-your-work composition, and verify the documentation-only diff.

Oracle guidance now reserves the slower, more thorough model for work that is both genuinely critical and unusually hard, materially undefined, non-convergent, or in need of a stronger independent challenge. It supports planning before implementation as well as review afterward.

The installed $oracle-review skill now owns the caf-oracle ledger, agent provenance, checked evidence, browser dispatch, recovery, response capture, disposition, and archive. Repositories keep their local thresholds and authorities, while $show-me-your-work keeps only a concise linked decision trail. This documentation-only update was checked with git diff --check and a stale-manual-workflow scan.
