[Bug]: Blizzard Battle.net client not functional with default runners (works with GE-Proton-10-32) #463

Description

Describe the bug

The Blizzard Battle.net installer completes successfully in Bottles when using the default runners, but the application itself is not functional. After launching Battle.net, the store/client UI does not load any content and shows the error visible in the screenshot.

Image

To Reproduce

  1. Create a new bottle

  2. Run the Blizzard Battle.net installer using the default runner

  3. Launch Battle.net after installation

  4. The client opens but the store/UI does not load and shows an error

Workaround:

Switching the runner to LATEST GE-Proton-10-32 makes the Battle.net client load correctly and function normally.

Expected behavior:

The Battle.net client should work correctly with the default runners provided by Bottles.

Actual behavior:

The installer completes, but the Battle.net client is not usable unless GE-Proton is used as the runner.
