baldrick undetectable by conda

So, when I pip install or setup.py install something, conda list usually picks it up:

$ conda list gwcs
# packages in environment at .../anaconda/envs/py37:
#
# Name                    Version                   Build  Channel
gwcs                      0.10.dev429               <pip>

But it cannot "see" baldrick:

$ conda list baldrick
# packages in environment at .../anaconda/envs/py37:
#
# Name                    Version                   Build  Channel

Why is it so?
