Description of error or issue that occurred:
Data will no longer be logged on SD card or reading data from SD card is corrupt or not possible. This can cause loss of data or on the WiFi devices, being unable to connect and upload as the credentials need to be read from the SD card. Sometimes the SD card will not initialize at all.
Description/list of what could be causing this issue:
-Weather, heat, humidity or general wear causes the SD card to fail
-Hardware failure
Description of steps taken to resolve them:
-We replaced all of the sd cards on Draga devices in 2025 with industrial SD cards which should be able to handle more extreme environments.
-Replacing the hypnos board on the UBC device 15 in March 2025 fixed an issue with initializing the SD card.
Fixed or still ongoing? Possible solutions to prevent this on future models.
Issue has been fixed for now but it remains to be seen whether the industrial SD cards will last longer
