Unexpected/wrong behaviour with tree-style checkbox lists

When checkbox tabbed from page start it doesn't switch between states. Instead, new checkbox is created at the start of the page.

Indeed, I have the same issues as well. For example, if there is something like

• one
• two
  • three

toggling the item three create a new checkbox at and it becomes

• one
• two
• - [ ] three
