I recently subscribed to GitHub to upgrade the account for my organization to "Github Team", and the payment was processed successfully. However, my account’s actions minutes have not been updated, it is yet to reflect the new subscription that has been paid.

This is a fairly common delay after upgrading to GitHub Team (or Enterprise) — the Actions minutes quota doesn't always update instantly, even when the payment processes successfully and you see the plan change in your billing settings.

Why the delay happens

GitHub's billing & plan sync can take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 24 hours (sometimes longer during weekends/high load). The subscription upgrade is applied to your account/org, but the included Actions minutes (2,000 for Team plan per month, shared across the org) are provisioned in a separate backend queue.

Quick steps to fix / check right now

1. Confirm the plan is active

   • Go to your organization → Settings → Billing and plans
   • It should show "GitHub Team" as the current plan, with the payment date visible.
   • If it still says Free, the upgrade didn't fully apply — contact support immediately.

2. Check current Actions usage & quota

   • Org → Settings → Billing and plans → Scroll to "GitHub Actions" section
   • It shows "Included minutes" and "Used this month".
   • If it's still showing 2,000 minutes (Free tier) instead of 3,000 total (2,000 included + paid extras if over), wait a bit longer.

3. Force a refresh (sometimes helps)

   • Log out of GitHub, clear browser cache, log back in.
   • Or try in an incognito window/private browsing.

4. If still not updated after 24 hours

   • Open a support ticket: https://support.github.com/contact
     • Category: Billing
     • Describe: "Upgraded org to GitHub Team on [date], payment successful, plan shows as Team, but Actions included minutes still at Free tier level (2,000 instead of the Team quota)."
     • Attach screenshot of Billing page showing Team plan + payment confirmation.
   • GitHub billing support usually resolves these provisioning delays within 1–2 business days once ticketed.

Many users report the minutes appearing automatically overnight or the next morning after upgrade. If you upgraded very recently (e.g., today), give it until tomorrow morning IST — it often syncs during US business hours.
