Voice alerts not working on Linux + Standalone #1834

An external user on our forums mentioned it not being working on his SteamDeck. @ArturoManzoli was able to reproduce the problem on the standalone version, running on his Linux machine.

I tested here and can confirm everything to be working on macOS, both browser and standalone version.

Tests on Windows still pending.
