Why this change?

I am an engineering lead at monday.com, working on Globster - a managed agent platform using OpenShell (monday.com and NVIDIA partnership)
These bugs prevent reliable policy propagation and convergence in our OpenShell integration.
I reproduced the failures and want to contribute the generic fixes upstream.
